观看鸟类 尼泊尔拥有850种鸟类，每年，大批的迁徙鸟从西藏， 西伯利亚和喜玛拉雅山脉的北麓飞到尼泊尔的低地和德赖地区。 卡尔西水坝是迁徙鸟们的最重要的栖息地之一。 观鸟活动最惬意的时节是在深秋和早春时节， 那是鸟儿开始迁徙的时候。 其他公园和自然保护区也吸引着很多的鸟类到那里生活， 吸引着众多的观鸟游客。 |

尼泊尔的地形
http://www.fdi.gov.cn/pub/FDI/tzdt/zt/ztmc...70412_76945.htm 尼泊尔位于喜马拉雅山脉中段南麓。北面与我国西藏毗邻，东界锡金，东南、西、南与印度接壤。 尼泊尔地势高峻，素有“山国”之称，境内山地占全国面积的3/4以上，海拔900米以上的土地约占全国总面积1/2。地势北高南低，北部横贯着喜马拉雅山脉，中部为岭谷交错的山地，南部是起伏不大的一条狭长平原。 根据地形, 全境分为三个自然地带： （1）北部高山区：高度在海拔4800米以上。这里终年积雪，土地贫瘠，人烟稀少，交通不便。6000米以上的山峰多达240座，还有许多世界有名的高峰座落在尼境内或边界上。其中海拔8000米以上的高峰有8座，它们是：珠穆朗玛峰（尼泊尔名萨加玛塔峰Sagarmatha，位于中尼边界交界处）、干城章嘉峰（Kangchenjunga, 位于尼、锡边界）、洛泽峰（Lhotse）、马卡卢峰（Makalu）、道拉吉里峰（Dhaulagiri）、马纳斯卢峰(Manaslu)、卓奥友峰(Cho Oyu)和安纳普尔纳1号峰(Annapurna I)。 （2）中部山区与河谷：在崇山峻岭中分布着许多大小河谷，其中面积较大者有加德满都河谷（Kathmandu Valley）和博克拉河谷(Phokhara Valley)。这里人口稠密，土地肥沃，气候温和。中部山区南沿与喜马拉雅山脉相平行的马哈巴拉特山脉(Mahabharat)。 （3）南部平原：称为特莱地区(Terai)，宽15-50公里，海拔高度一般在200米以下，约占全国总面积的17%。这里气温较高，雨量充沛，土地肥沃，是尼泊尔的主要农产区。 尼泊尔的河流大都发源于喜马拉雅山以北，即我国西藏。几乎所有河流都是自北向南奔流而下，注入印度恒河。尼泊尔主要有三大河系：东部的沙普塔?科西河系（Sapta Kosi System），中部的沙普塔?甘达基河系（Sapta Gandaki System）和西部的沙普塔?卡尔纳利河系（Sapta Karnali System）。每个河系有7个河流。这些河流水流湍急，落差很大，虽然航运价值不大，但蕴藏着极丰富的水力资源。雨季山洪暴发，南部平原易遭水灾。 |

又找了一个地方 Lumbini, 菩萨的出生地，4夜5天的纪录， 其中猛禽27种 LUMBINI, LOWLAND NEPAL Itinerary 4 January MM and HSB flew Kathmandu – Bhairahawa by Buddha Air (one of the most reliable internal airlines). Met by DG with hired microvan and driver. Transferred 15kms to Lumbini Buddha Garden Lodge (LBGL), just east of the Lumbini Development Trust site (LDT), birthplace of Buddha, in Rupandehi District. Bird-watched around lodge and in open woodland at LDT. 5 January Visited an area of grassland called Khadara Phanta, also Rupandehi District, in the morning and LDT in the afternoon. 6 January Drove to Jagdishpur Reservoir, an Important Bird Area in Kapilvastu District, about 40 kms NW of Lumbini, where we spent most of the day. Briefly visited Tilaurakot archaeological site (large grove of ancient trees) in afternoon. 7 January LDT in the morning and farmland adjacent to Lumbini Buddha Garden Lodge in the afternoon. 8 January Returned by road to Kathmandu, which took about seven hours in a hired microvan. No flights left Bhairahawa due to the extremely dull foggy weather (which had affected birding on previous days).
